The Molding Sands

My submission for Kiri's 3rd Blender jam.

This project depicts an hourglass on a table alongside a candle and a potted plant, the hourglass is broken on both ends, revealing the molding sands. Within the sand, is an old dessert town in the top section, being molded through the hourglass to become a modern city on the bottom, showing the active passing of time.

The design of the town and city was heavily inspired by the architecture in Albuquerque New Mexico. All models and concept made by me, textures are either made by me or properly credited within the files.
